To strengthen cancer research education and foster collaboration across the state, the Cancer Institute NSW commissioned the development of the Cancer Research Education Portal (CREd Portal) in partnership with three Translational Cancer Research Centres: NSW Regional Cancer Research Network, Sydney Cancer Partners, and Maridulu Budyari Gumal (SPHERE) Cancer Clinical Academic Group.
The CREd Portal supports knowledge-sharing and the development of educational resources in cancer research, ensuring researchers across NSW have access to high-quality, practical tools and learning opportunities.
What’s available on the portal
The portal provides access to:
- Recordings from the monthly Statewide Cancer Research Seminar Series
- Sessions from the NSW Cancer Research Symposium on Data Linkage
- Presentations from the 2022 NSW Cancer Conference
- Additional educational resources, including materials on clinical trials and data linkage
Who can access the portal?
The CREd Portal is a SharePoint site hosted by NSW Health. It is open to anyone with an interest in cancer research across NSW. As the portal is hosted on SharePoint, access must be requested and approved before use.
